King Hans and Queen Christina is a historical Cluewalk through central Malmö, where your team steps into the year 1512 – a time of powerful merchants, royal intrigue and looming conflict. A secret peace letter must reach King Hans, but someone has broken its seal. Who is the mysterious man who handed the letter to you, and why does he not dare reveal his identity?

During an approximately 2.3 km walk with 12 locations you follow the trail through Malmö, from the canal at the Pauli bridge, past St. Peter's Church, Stortorget and Lilla Torg, through Gamla Väster and Kungsparken to Malmöhus Castle.

Along the way, 12 varied and tricky location-based challenges await. You will find hidden sightlines, discover concealed details, solve ciphers and anagrams, assemble picture puzzles, crack crosswords and examine works of art. The tasks demand ingenuity, teamwork and sharp eyes – it is not enough to simply google the answers!

With every task you solve, you get closer to the truth and collect fragments of the broken seal. At Malmöhus the decisive test awaits, where all the clues must be pieced together. Will you succeed in uncovering the secret behind the letter and help bring about peace?

The adventure is based on real historical events surrounding the Peace of Malmö in 1512, but blends history with imaginative mystery and modern brain-teasers. You use your phone as a game tool, but it is above all your eyes, your steps and your teamwork that lead you forward.

Paid street parking is available in the area around Slussen and Rörsjöparken. An alternative is the Petri parking garage at Rundelsgatan 19, a short walk from the start at Paulibron. Please check the current fees and parking rules on site. Please note that this cluewalk ends at Malmöhus Castle, about 2 km from the start along the game route.

The Cluewalk takes place outdoors through central Malmö and Kungsparken, along a walk of approximately 2.3 km. The route mainly follows footpaths, sidewalks and squares. In some places there are cobblestones and uneven surfaces, especially in Kungsparken. Strollers generally work well, while wheelchair users may need some assistance in a few places. Some tasks require you to examine details close to the ground or find particular viewing angles. No buildings need to be entered. The tasks are visual and text-based and do not require hearing. Please note that the route has not been accessibility-tested in its entirety.
